Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to ticket bookings and travel services purchased through China Local Help. It explains when refunds are available, how they are calculated, and how to request one.

Summary

  • Before we confirm your booking: full refund, including service fee.
  • After booking confirmation: refund follows the attraction's own policy; service fee is non-refundable.
  • Attraction sold out / unable to secure ticket: full refund, including service fee.
  • Wrong passport info or missed time slot: not refundable.

1. Before Booking Confirmation

After you pay, we begin processing your order (typically within 24 hours). You may cancel your order and receive a full refund — including both the ticket price and the US$0.99 service fee — as long as we have not yet issued or confirmed the ticket with the attraction.

2. After Booking Confirmation

Once a ticket has been issued and you have received a confirmation email, the booking is subject to the attraction's own refund, change, and cancellation rules. Many Chinese attractions allow cancellations with full or partial refund up to 24 hours before the visit, while others do not permit any refund once issued.

We will pass through any refund we receive from the attraction to you, minus:

  • The US$0.99 service fee (non-refundable once booking is confirmed), and
  • Any non-refundable portion retained by the attraction.

The specific refund conditions for your booking will be included in your confirmation email.

3. Attraction Sold Out or Unavailable

If we are unable to secure your requested ticket due to sell-out, schedule closure, attraction blackout, or any reason on our side, we will notify you and issue a full refund of the entire amount you paid — including the service fee. We may suggest an alternative date or attraction, but you are under no obligation to accept.

4. Not Eligible for Refund

The following situations are generally not eligible for a refund:

  • Incorrect passport name, passport number, or nationality submitted at checkout.
  • Missing the booked time slot, arriving late, or failing to bring the passport used for booking.
  • Being denied entry by the attraction due to visitor behavior, prohibited items, or violation of attraction rules.
  • Cancellation after the visit date has passed.
  • Force majeure events (weather, natural disasters, government closures) handled according to the attraction's own policy — we will help you obtain whatever refund the attraction offers.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us with your order number:

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours. Once approved, refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in delayed resolution, as Stripe and our team will need to review order records and communication history.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will govern that order. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision.
