How do I book train tickets?
Use the official 12306 app or website, or ask us to book for you. Book early during holidays as tickets sell out fast.
Is it safe to travel in China?
China is generally very safe for tourists. Violent crime is rare. Take normal precautions against petty theft in crowded areas.
What apps do I need in China?
Essential apps include Alipay/WeChat Pay, Didi (ride-hailing), Baidu Maps or Apple Maps, and a translation app.
Do people speak English in China?
English is not widely spoken outside major tourist areas and hotels in big cities. Having a translation app is very helpful.
